burning question..

science fiction tales never fails to intrigue me

if the future me goes back in time to change the past
and he returns back to the new future
that was changed due to him going back
would he be meeting the existing me that would grow old?

and since he changed the past to affect the future
would the grown old me be required to go back in time
to change whatever it is the future me changed?

if the grown old me need not go back to the past
wouldnt it be a spectacle to have the future me meeting the grown old me?
perhaps they'll meet in the future that the future me adjusted
when he went back to the past to rectify?
